Meet The Surgeon

What foods should I avoid after weight loss surgery?

Problem foods to avoid include dry meats, white bread and gloopy foods such as boiled rice. We also advise you to avoid all fizzy drinks as they can stretch the stomach pouch. Our advice is to let the fizz go out of the drink before you consume it. Fizzy drinks can also stimulate appetite, which is not ideal for weight loss patients.
