Sandra Johnson is our Bariatric Specialist Nurse and is an invaluable source of support and advice for our patients. She has worked in both the NHS and Private sectors, with past appointments as sister in charge of the Bariatric High Dependency Unit at both Spire Wirral and The Countess of Chester NHS Foundation Trust before joining the Phoenix Team.
Sandra is an expert in patient support and obtained a postgraduate certificate in Obesity Care and Management July 2015. She liaises with hospitals, GPs and patients themselves to make each person’s journey as stress-free and smooth as possible. She takes a lead in mentoring and supporting nursing staff at our partner hospitals to ensure that all Phoenix patients receive the same standard of care wherever they may be treated.
