Meet The Surgeon

How long before I can drive after weight loss surgery?

A very common question. The answer is, as soon as you feel comfortable to do an emergency stop and look behind at your blind spot. For most people after bariatric keyhole surgery, that would be within a week of the operation. Check with your motor insurance company because some have policy restrictions that relate to drivers who have had recent surgery.
