Meet The Surgeon
At the initial assessment you will meet one or more members of the Phoenix Health team, normally a surgeon and/or a bariatric dietician who will complete a detailed medical and dietary questionnaire to assess your suitability for the various treatments available. You get the chance to ask us any questions you may have and we can talk you through the pros and cons of the different options.
All Phoenix patients are also offered a complimentary telephone consultation with one of our specialist psychologists who understand the challenges both obesity and bariatric surgery can pose. This session is aimed at identifying risk factors such as emotional eating that we can help you with to ensure that you get the most out of your surgery.
